About Us

Forest Edge Psychology and Psychotherapy takes its name from its setting on the boundary of the Sherbrooke Forest in Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges, and from the symbolism of that threshold — a meeting point between the known and the unknown, the seen and the unseen. The forest, like the human mind, holds both clarity and mystery, and finding a path through it can reveal new understanding and self-awareness.

At Forest Edge, this spirit of exploration shapes our therapeutic approach. We see symptoms not as problems to be eliminated, but as meaningful signals that can guide understanding and growth. Depending on your needs and goals, we draw from a range of evidence-based and integrative approaches — including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), depth-oriented work, Parts based work, a somatic orientation, and mindfulness-based practices. We work with adults, adolescents, and couples to help them navigate life’s challenges, develop practical tools for wellbeing, and build a deeper connection with themselves.

Our aim is to meet you where you are, and to support you in finding your way forward with greater clarity and confidence.

“The spirit of a person grows by expanding into the truth of their own experience.”
